Just a friendly gal with a camera, who loves to create epic films for legendary couples!

Hi, I'm Sophie, filmmaker and owner of White Maple Videography. 

From humble beginnings, creating family home videos as a child, then broadening to travel and lifestyle films, it's been a lifetime of striving to capture the special moments in life, preserving them and presenting them in a way that savours the finest details.

For a long time videography was only a way of expressing my creativity, and to ensure moments aren't lost in time. Then my own wedding came and left and I realised I'd missed out on my one opportunity to capture it on film.

I decided I didn't want anyone else to miss their opportunity, and so White Maple Videography was born.

I have now being creating wedding films for over five years and have learnt and grown along the way.

One thing that hasn't changed is how I connect with my couples.

I still cry while making every wedding film! I'm just so *weirdly* passionate about creating something that will be truly treasured and loved by not only the couple but also their family for generations to come.
